Lithia Springs Marina:
Lithia Springs Marina's motto is "the Gateway to Water Paradise". It is located on the the southern end of the lake and boasts a wide array of updated services and is probably the most recently updated marina on Lake Shebyville. They currently have over 300 slips ranging from 8' to 75' in length both covered and uncovered. All slip renters receive individually metered electricity, city water to the slip, free slipside sewage pumpouts, and access to dock showers and toilets.
They offer the standard fare of accommodations as well
as some luxuries other marinas do not offer. As with the other marinas
they have a parts and service department to help you with all of your
mechanical problems. They have a floating gas dock for quick refuels
and pumpouts. Their store offers a wide range of boat essentials and
luxuries such as shirts, coozies, snacks, beer, and more. The best
part of their on-the-lake store is that it also contains a Subway
restaurant. Easy to get to and well worth a stop after a day of
running around on the lake.
At Lithia Springs Marina you also have your standard offering of rental boats such as fishing, pontoon, and paddleboats. They are also currently the only marina that offers houseboats for rent. If you are planning on an extended visit to Lake Shelbyville and don't have a boat of your own then this is definitely the choice for you. All the amenities that you would receive at an on-the-shore hotel with alot more mobility. With this boat you can spend your evenings in one of the many secluded coves around lake Shelbyville or you could drop anchor and park it directly in middle of Party Cove and set up shop as a party headquarters. Either way you go you are sure to have a good time.
